My name is Indigo Adobea Abena Joy Quashie (They/them). I am a queer Black person from the southside of Chicago who has pursued a creative lifestyle for the past 15 years. I graduated from Ohio's College of Wooster with a Bachelor of Arts in 2021, majoring in Studio Art and minoring in Adolescent Education. With various experiences in editorial, painting, digital art, photography, and more, I enjoy centering my work around the connections between art and human experiences.
My most recent design project was as the Lead Graphic Designer for Natasha Tarpley's "Joy Lives Here" playing cards, created through New America's Learning Sciences Exchange Fellowship.
I desire to work with people who want to foster community. Those who support the wellness and liberty of marginalized people, separating human rights from politics.
Most of all, I want to contribute to change.
